Apprenticeships & Work Experience
We believe that the key to our success lies in the development of our people. Our existing business ethos of promoting from within means that apprenticeships are a key part of our overall growth plan.
Our existing directors and leadership team are testament to our commitment. The majority of people at this level have completed apprenticeships prior to their promotion into long term white collar roles.
How we do this
We work with a number of registered providers when appointing apprentices. These include;
• Working with local training providers
• Working with local schools and colleges
• Working with chamber of commerce
• Working with displaced apprentices
• Working with our customers
From Taster Days, group visits, and work placements, we work closely with our clients and employer providers to provide young people and individuals who are looking to develop their career and confidence in their chosen profession in the construction industry.
Last year we provided over 6000 hours of taster days and work placements
